Breaza is situated 95 Km from Bucharest, the capital city of Romania, at the entrance of Prahova Valey, and lies North of  Comarnic city and North-West of Campina, neighbouring Cornu county in the East and Adunati and Talea counties in the West.

Breaza is reachable by car on the National Road 1 (DN1) Bucharest-Brasov, between Km 95,5 and Km 106,5.

You can also reach Breaza by railway Bucharest-Brasov, at Breaza railway station or the small station Nistoresti and Breaza Nord.

The annual average temperature of Breaza is 9.30°C, with an average of -1.90°C during winter and 19.6°C during the summer season. Overall, the climate in Breaza is considered to be continental.

Due to its geographical position, close to the surrounding highlands and the presence of rich vegetation, the humidity in Breaza is somewhat constant throughout the year. The air is considered to be very beneficial for aero therapy.

The Nicolae Grigorescu museum, the former residence of the famous painter Nicolae Grigorescu.

The Bogdan Petriceicu Haşdeu museum, built from the places of Iulia Hasdeu during 1893-1898, after her death.

The Carpathian Hunting Museum in Posada – Comarnic, which displays trophies of many species of animals. 

The "Lespezi" hermitage in Comarnic, which has been  built on the ruins of annother church during 1661.

From Breaza you can take walks in the Brancoveanu park located in the center of the town, around the resort and along the Parahova river banks.

Trips to the neighbouring Predeal, Busteni, Sinaia, Azuga, for practicing different sports, for recreation and relaxation.
